It was time for the stars to rock the red carpet once again. And once again, rock it they did. The Screen Actors Guild Awards 2015 recently concluded with aplomb and the fashion statements were made by everyone to see. But aside from the chignon’s and figure hugging dresses, we decided to look at those actresses who let their personalities come through with their outfits. So lets take a look at who wore it different at SAG 2015.
The star of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’ has been too busy for the movie’s promo tour and has missing in action for quite a while. But she made a gorgeous return in a beautiful Naeem Khan Spring 2015 one shouldered gown that was splashed across with floral colors and patterns. Natalie accessorized her look with Kimberly McDonald jewellery and a crimped hairstyle to complete the ensemble.
The ‘Birdman’ star was probably the most ‘wow’ dressed at SAG 2015.This is how you rock a Tuxedo ladies!!! The tuxedo gown by Christian Dior Couture was incredibly cool and sexy. Emma definitely teaches us how to be glamorous in a menswear look. The sheer black panelling at the top of the tuxedo blazer to the dramatic sheer train below looked stunning on the ginger actress. Emma also got it spot on with Christian Louboutin Gardnera ankle strap peep toe heels, combined with Repossi jewel ear cuffs. This is hands down our favourite look of the evening.
The Imitation Game’ actress and nominee ditched the regular colors and opted for a regal jewel purple Erdem Gown. The dress featued layers of eyelet lace, sheer panelling and shoulder ties, elegantly concealing her maternity curves. Keira’s wavy locks and unique ear cuff lent a wonderfully bohemian vibe to the entire get up. The dress shouted Keira all the way….
The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress wore a Vionnet Spring 2015 white dress with a sheer, patterned skirt. We are absolutely in love with the whole look. It exudes modernity, is sexy without being too revealing, has a wonderful edge to it…. plus it never hurt anyone if you have the legs to work it. Drop earrings were a perfect match to the outfit. Beachy hair, red lips and simple shoes completed a perfect look. Laura made a wise decision not to over style it.
The ‘Modern Family’ actress wore a Vera Wang jewelled bodice with a custom, black and nude silk gown featuring a sheer tulle overlay. The Lorraine Schwartz rings and earrings finished the look with an extra sparkle. Her bodice fit her to perfection and we like how the delicate tulle overlay offsets the beading. Her contrasting aqua-blue earrings added a unique touch. The Y-back strap is a sporty detail that kept the look young and fresh. Bonus points to Sarah for pulling her hair up and not distracting from the dress. She looked poised, lovely and graceful.
